I am now in Dubai, once again with Avanza Solutions, working in close relationship with the Financial Division of NCR here.
People rightly say that Dubai is overflowing with money. There is construction going on everywhere. High speed cars and skyscrapers make it very different from the peaceful city of Gothenburg, where I spent the last 1.5 years. Property prices and apartment rents have risen sharply. Many people living on rented apartments in Bur Dubai are now considering subletting a room. Many other are moving to Sharjah. This, however, means going at snail pace in the morning hours to office due to the huge traffic, and same for the evening. It usually takes people more than an hour to reach office in Bur from Sharjah and even more if the office is located in Dubai Internet City or Jabel Ali.
The next major goal of life: I have to find an apartment to live!
